A Change

Earlier today it was nearly 70 degrees as was forecast.  This afternoon, a cold front began to move in-also as was forecast.  Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the lower 40s.

On a related note, the president-elect has referred to climate change as a “hoax” and has made statements to the effect of pulling out of the Paris Climate Change agreement-well over 300 U.S. companies recently signed a letter recommending he adhere to the agreement.  It is significant to note that a judge in Oregon allowed a lawsuit filed by 21 young adults and climate scientist James Hansen against the Federal government for failing to take more action against climate change to go forward.  Both of these efforts highlight the consequences of the U.S. failing to implement our commitments.

Good for companies, the students, and the rest of us.

Take care.

It is November 18, and the temperature in this area is be in the upper 60s today.  Meanwhile, the Midwest is being hammered by a blizzard.  The South, Southwest, Northeast, and California are continuing their droughts.  That cold weather from the west is to blow in here tomorrow night-Sunday’s highs are forecast as being in the 40s-quite a difference.

Take care.
